On behalf of Commander’s Palace, we are thrilled to have you join us as a featured speaker at The American Cuisine and Hospitality Symposium on Monday, September 17 in New Orleans. We are excited to be celebrating the 125th anniversary of Commander’s Palace this year and look forward to recreating this symposium that took place in 1983. Best of all, the symposium is being held during the 300th anniversary of the city of New Orleans!

The event kicks off with a Grand Haute Creole Private Dinner at the restaurant on Sunday followed by the Symposium the next day featuring thought provoking discussions by some of the culinary industry’s leading experts like yourself. We hope to make history again by organizing this important gathering and greatly appreciate your time and support by being a part.

As the event gets closer, we will be setting up calls with the other participants to discuss the format, topics, and logistics. To make everything official, we do ask that you send the attached contact sheet to ensure we have all the correct information. Please return with your bio and a high-resolution photo to use in any marketing materials.

Travel Stipend. Up to $750 to cover airfare, mileage, etc. Submit your receipts with a W9 once you book your trip. Hotel Accommodations. Provide you with a hotel room for Sunday, September 16 and Monday, September 17 (check out Tuesday) (if you are extending your trip, we can provide a special rate to cover the additional room nights). Event Access. Provide you with a badge to attend the entire symposium and the dinner.
